About the Younger Member Group

The Younger Member Group
The younger member group (YMG) is a subsidiary group to the South Carolina Section Upstate Branch. The YMG serves the purpose of moving and developing young engineers from college to the ranks of professional engineering. The YMG operates to facilitate professional and social development through a network of piers at similar places in their professional development.

Goals
1. To provide an environment that allows for social and professional growth;
2. To provide opportunities to for networking;
3. To promote and support the field of civil engineering;
4. To support the community.

Membership to the Younger Member Group

Membership to the younger member group is FREE to ASCE members. Any member of the ASCE between the ages of 20-35 are eligible for full membership ins the YMG.
